Countdown from #10. First up ......
Fifa Soccer '11--- 09/28---- It's always important to continue and update a great game, Fifa Soccer '10 was an amazing game that won over 50 game awards and achievements in an all around category. Whether your into the actual game play or the luxury of controlling your own team this is a must for any soccer fan!
#9. Hydrophobia ---09/29---- OK so its not a full game. It's an xbox 360 arcade game.. but I'm still looking forward to trying it out. The way they describe the games environment and surroundings it kind of reminds me of Wall-E (LOL).. Huge outer space ships with hulls big enough to fit schools and football fields. It's a mini-state. Only issue is that now its wandered into enemy sky territory and the systems engineer Kate Wilson must do whatever she can to save the state. Sounds like a classic strategy shooter to me; a.k.a new age Myst. :D
#8. NBA 2k11---10/05---- I rarely play basketball games but I'm really pumped for this one. How can I not be when I get to play as some of the greatest players of all time in the best b-ball simulation game! I see no flaws of how this can be even one bit boring. I personally can't wait to take control of Michael Jordan and kick some ass!
#7. James Bond 007: Blood Stone --- Nov '10--- Yeah I know what your thinking, played out 007 games with the same old shaken not stirred story line. I can't help but wonder if just MAYBE this time they worked there magic in making a truly amazing Bond game, because in my opinion the older versions lacked; well everything. Let's wait and see.
#6 Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows P. 1 --- No '10 ---- I have to play this game for many reasons. A)I was seriously addicted to Harry Potter for many years. B) I have played most of the past Potter games. C) More importantly and less nerdy. IT WILL HAVE KINECT CAPABILITIES! that is going to be seriously insane! I can see many children and nerdy adults like myself running around with a wand pretending there magical! there's NOTHING Wrong with that :P
#5 Need For Speed: Hot pursuit --- Nov '10 ---- Need for Speed has been a major factor as to why I had three faster than fast cars, 10 points, and an empty wallet -__- BUT I LOVE IT! Need for Speed is always a win in my book, they've never failed a game yet. My partner for Team R.G.R has had some mixed feelings about past Need 4 Speed games, saying controls, cars and game play lacked that "Original" feeling. This newest instalment should surpass the rest!
#4. Max Payne 3 --- TBD ---- I actually am not fully thrilled about Max Payne 3! I'm actually kinda pissed the more and more I research the latest information. Max Payne 1 and 2 were amazing games because of its DARK and almost sickening background imagery and motion. Max was hit emotionally and physically by his families murder, thus going on a rampage to find and brutally kill whoever took them from him. OK this new game presents no darkness. no sickening background imagery. It's placed in Brazil of all places and Max is double crossed which leads him to want answers as to why and hey if he has to kill a few people on the way to the truth so be it. I really don't get how it fits into the original story, they write that this is a "new chapter" in Max's life. bullshit. they just wanted to bring back the title for the purpose of showing max doing bullet-time in high definition. Which is WHY I will buy the game. I'm a huge fan and I am dying to see Max and his new weapons and brutally cut up face shoot his way through enemy's with bullet-time in 1080p. :-)
#3. Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II (Collector's Edition) --- 10/26 ---- OK the first Unleashed was a truly remarkable game. We all love Star Wars and the fact that the game took the original Trilogy changed it around and made you in control of changes is truly something to admire. This game continues six months after the first Force unleashed and one year before Star wars VI: A new hope. SEE HOW COOL THAT IS! the game goes directly into the star wars timeline <3. With new abilities such as dual light sabers, more force powers, and piloting a Tie Fighter; I see ZERO reasons why any Star Wars Fan shouldn't preorder this straight away! The collectors edition comes with a mini usb drive filled with art and other bonus' GO FOR IT!
#2. Call of Duty: Black Ops (Prestige Edition) --- 11/09 ---- CALL OF F*KING DUTY! Addicting game man. Hours upon hours for months on end of online gameplay and a challenging veteran mode campaign. Thats what I predict. Black Ops takes a new toll on the Call of Duty "Modern" franchise in the point of "deniable operations"
Tied for #2 Medal of Honor (Limited Edition) --- 10/12 ---- It was a hard decision but I decided to tie Black Ops and Medal of Honor for the #2 spot. 2 million soldiers serve in the army, navy, marines, air force; 50,000 of those men become under the control of special operations command, of those 50,000 men only a few 100 become tier one. IF THAT doesn't make you wanna run and grab this game I don't know what will! Rebooting the game from its original WWII theme, the games combat takes place present(ish) time in Afghanistan, ALL NEW weapons and classes and completely redone from the older Medal of Honor this will make this a truly unforgettable run, I'm sure most of us played and enjoyed the original 1999 Medal of Honor back in the day. Realism plays a big part in this game as EA hired many military consultants to make the game feel as real as possible. I'm hooked... Realism, Graphics, New age warfare? COUNT TEAM R.G.R IN! see you on the battlefield!
AND NUMBER ONE! Can you guess what I literally cannot wait to play?
FABLE III (Limited Edition) --- 10/26 ---- Fable is my all time favorite RPG game ever. I love how everything is affected by your actions and the story board NEVER gets boring, hours can be spent playing and you wouldn't even realize it. With the new adjustments the team a Lionhead studios made to the newest game its sure to be a MEGA hit. They changed the way a normal RPG game works. There are no more 2D Menus in the game! that's incredible how everything you do now is so life like, from the moment you press start you are warped to you sanctuary and the game begins! You now change clothing in a changing room, magic is now done through gauntlets that are stored in your sanctuary, weapons are your job for designing! there will no longer be pre-made "super weapons", now you can design a weapon; give it its looks and power, etc; and trade it with another character for a weapon he/she made herself! truly incredible! Not only does the character change appearance with the decisions you bestow upon him/her but the weapons change as well. If you use your weapon to kill innocents it will drip blood, if you use your weapon to kill evil it will glow. Your more in control of the towns around you. If you don't control the crime, taxes, etc. reasonably throughout the towns you'll notice the towns people to become visibly poorer, if your passing through the town they'll begin to riot until you fix the issues at hand. As per the Story line, its placed 50 years after the events of Fable II, Albion is under the control of a Tyrant King named Logan who is the "hero's" sibling. The game set you on a course to overthrow Logan by gaining the support of the people of Albion. Once he is overthrown it is up to you whether to keep the promises that you bestowed upon your people, also possibilities of war arise by a neighboring country called "Aurora". The limited edition doesn't include anything truly spectacular other than the guild seal coin, but for the extra $20 its seriously worth it!
